Until traders transition to a Live Account, there is a Maximum Payout Limit in place. This FAQ explains how this works and what traders can expect.
What is the Maximum Payout Until Live?
While in the Sim Funded stage, traders can withdraw profits, but there is a limit on how much can be withdrawn in a single payout. Once a trader qualifies for a Live Account, this limit is removed, and traders can withdraw without restriction.
What Are the Maximum Payout Limits in the Sim Funded Stage?
The maximum amount you can withdraw in a single payout is based on your account size and account type and purchase date. Find your account type below.
Elite Sim Funded
| Account Size | Max Per Withdrawal |
|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,500 |
| $50,000 | $2,500 |
| $100,000 | $3,000 |
| $150,000 | $3,500 |
Instant Sim Funded (Purchased before 7/27/2026)
| Account Size | Max Per Withdrawal |
|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,500 |
| $50,000 | $2,500 |
| $100,000 | $3,000 |
| $150,000 | $3,500 |
Instant Sim Funded 2.0 (Purchased on and after 7/27/2026)
| Account Size | Max Per Withdrawal |
|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,000 |
| $50,000 | $2,000 |
| $100,000 | $2,500 |
| $150,000 | $3,000 |
Elite Daily Funded
| Account Size | Max Per Withdrawal |
|---|---|
| $25,000 | $750 |
| $50,000 | $1,000 |
| $100,000 | $1,500 |
| $150,000 | $2,250 |
Elite Access Funded
| Account Size | Max Per Withdrawal |
|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,000 |
| $50,000 | $1,500 |
| $100,000 | $2,000 |
| $150,000 | $2,500 |
Ignite Instant Funding
| Account Size | Max Per Withdrawal |
|---|---|
| $25,000 | $500 |
| $50,000 | $1,000 |
| $100,000 | $1,500 |
| $150,000 | $2,000 |
If your profit exceeds the maximum for your account, you can simply request the maximum amount, and the remaining profit stays in your account to be withdrawn in a future payout request.
Does the Maximum Payout Apply to Every Withdrawal?
Yes. While in the Sim Funded stage, every withdrawal is subject to the payout limit based on your account size. However, once you transition to a Live Account, there are no payout restrictions.
Where Can I Track My Progress Toward a Live Account?
You can monitor your performance and payout eligibility in the Top One Futures trader dashboard, which provides real-time updates on your trading status.
By understanding the Maximum Payout Until Live, traders can manage their expectations and work toward unlocking unlimited payouts in a Live Account. Keep trading smart, stay consistent, and grow with Top One Futures!
Lock Upon Payout
When you request a payout, your maximum trailing drawdown will lock in at the starting balance plus $100. From the moment you make a payout, the drawdown no longer trails with your account growth, regardless of how much you continue to grow your account.
How the Lock Upon Payout Works:
When you qualify for and request a payout, the maximum drawdown locks in at your initial account balance plus $100. Here are two examples to illustrate this:
- Initial Balance:
- $100,000
- Balance after Profit:
- $105,000
- Payout Request:
- $3,000
- New Balance after Payout:
- $102,000
- Locked Drawdown:
- $100,100
In this case, after your $3,000 payout, your maximum drawdown locks in at $100,100 leaving you with $1,900 of drawdown room before reaching your limit.
Important Considerations:
It's wise to leave a decent buffer so you don't breach your account. To avoid this, we have a couple of recommendations for you:
Leave Some Sim Profits as a Buffer: Instead of withdrawing the maximum amount of your sim profits, consider leaving some in your account. This will give you more breathing room and reduce the risk of breaching your account.
Grow Your Account Further: Another option is to grow your account by an additional 5% or more before taking your payout. This will give you a larger cushion and increase the likelihood of growing and compounding your account.
Of course, the decision is ultimately yours. We are happy to process your payout, but our goal is to see you have many successful payouts with us in the future. We don't want you to jeopardize your account in any way.
Why This Rule Exists:
The drawdown lock upon payout is designed to ensure long-term sustainability for both traders and the firm. This rule encourages traders to focus on long-term growth and compounding, which can lead to significantly larger payouts over time. By locking the drawdown at the starting balance after a withdrawal, traders are incentivized to manage their accounts with discipline and focus on continued growth.
How Does the Profit Split Work?
Our profit split structure is designed to maximize your earnings as a trader:
All sim funded accounts feature a 90/10 profit split. You keep 90% of your payout amount, while the remaining 10% stays with the firm.
Can I Increase My Profit Split Percentage?
We do not currently offer a way to increase it further, but this structure ensures that traders receive the majority of their earnings.
Where Can I Track My Earnings and Payouts?
You can view your profit split details and payout history in your Top One Futures dashboard for real-time tracking.
