Can I Copy Trades Between S2F Sim PRO and Other Account Types?
This article explains the official TOP ONE FUTURES copy trading policy, including a critical update to our Trade Copier rules for S2F Sim PRO accounts.
The Fundamental Rule: No Copying Between Different Programs
No. It is strictly prohibited to copy trades between different account programs.
This means you cannot copy trades between an S2F Sim PRO account and any other type, such as a Classic ELITE or Instant Sim account.
Trade Copier Rules and Account Limits
The following rules govern how you can copy trades within the same account program.
S2F Sim PRO Accounts
You can only copy trades between S2F Sim PRO accounts that share the exact same account template. For example, an S2F Sim PRO $25K account can only lead other S2F Sim PRO $25K accounts.
Limit: You can operate and copy trades between a maximum of 5 S2F Sim PRO accounts.
Classic ELITE & Instant Sim Accounts
Rule: You can copy trades between accounts of the same type (e.g., Elite to Elite, or Instant to Instant).
Limit: You can operate and copy trades between a maximum of 3 Elite Sim accounts or 3 Instant Sim accounts.
Mixing account types in any copier setup (e.g., S2F Sim PRO leading an Instant account) is not possible and remains strictly prohibited.
Our Trade Copier Software
Yes, we provide a trade copier. The feature is built directly into our offered trading platform, Tradovate. You can set up your trade copier configuration from within the platform. For more information about Group Trading, you can refer to this Tradovate FAQ article here.
For S2F Sim PRO accounts, once you request your first payout, your 3% Trailing Intra-Day Drawdown switches to a fixed drawdown lock.
🛑 This means your drawdown stops trailing with account growth and locks at the starting balance +$100
Example:
Starting Balance: $50,000
Account Grows to: $53,000
Payout Requested: $2,500
New Max Drawdown Lock: $50,100
If your account equity falls below $50,100 after payout, it will breach.
✅ You are allowed to continue growing your balance and taking payouts with this locked drawdown.
Important Tips:
Leave some profits in your account to avoid breaching on your next trade.
Once your drawdown locks, it stays fixed unless reset.
The lock happens manually when your payout is approved.
What Is the Elite Daily Account Reset?
At Top One Futures, we understand that even professional traders face volatile days. That’s why we offer a Reset Option for Elite Daily Accounts, for both the Evaluation, but also offer a reset option for the Elite Daily Funded. Allowing you to restart your journey if your account is breached.
Elite Daily Funded Account Reset Fees by Account Size
The reset fee varies based on your funded account size. This allows you to restore your account to its starting balance without having to pass the evaluation again:
$25,000 Elite Daily Funded Account – $299
$50,000 Elite Daily Funded Account – $499
$100,000 Elite Daily Funded Account – $849
Elite Daily Evaluation Reset Fees
Ready to start your journey? Our Elite Daily Evaluation are priced to provide the best value for traders looking to scale:
$25,000 Elite Daily Evaluation – $79
$50,000 Elite Daily Evaluation – $95
$100,000 Elite Daily Evaluation – $185
How Does the Reset Work?
Fresh Start: Your account will be restored to its original starting balance.
Clean Slate: Your previous profit and loss history will be cleared, giving you a fresh start.
Eligibility: A reset is only available within 14 days from the date the account was breached.
Fixed Pricing: Discounts and coupons are not applicable to reset fees.
Consistency: When you reset an account, it is recreated using the same profit target and drawdown parameters from your original account, ensuring consistent trading conditions.
When Should You Use a Reset?
If you exceed the maximum daily drawdown or total drawdown and breach your account.
If your balance falls below the allowed limit and you want another chance to trade your strategy.
If you want a fresh start without the time commitment of starting a new evaluation Evaluation.
On our S2F Sim PRO Accounts Only, we use a Trailing Intra-Day Drawdown (TIDD) model to manage risk and reward consistency. This rule protects both the trader and the firm from excessive loss while still allowing room for growth.
What Is the Trailing Intra-Day Drawdown?
Trailing Intra-Day Drawdown (TIDD) means your maximum allowable loss trails your highest intra-day equity - including open (unrealized) trades. It's tracked live, tick by tick in real-time.
It is not fixed at the starting balance.
It moves upward only as your account hits new highs.
It is based on the highest equity value during the day, not just closed trades.
The TIDD (Trailing Intra-Day Drawdown) does not reset at the end of the day; it is always calculated based on the highest realized or unrealized P&L.
Example - $100,000 Account with 3% TID
Account Size: $100,000
TIDD: 3% = $3,000
Initial Breach Level: $97,000
Scenario 1:
You make $1,000 and close the trade.
New high: $101,000 → New breach level: $98,000
Scenario 2:
You open a trade, and your equity spikes to $103,000 (unrealized).
Even if you close it later at $102,500, the breach level is $100,000 (based on the peak of $103,000).
Scenario 3:
Your next trade spikes to $105,500, then drops to $103,000.
New breach level: $102,500
If your equity drops below $102,500, the account breaches - even if you haven't closed the trade.
Key Takeaway: The TIDD follows your highest equity value during the day, whether realized or unrealized. It does not reset when you close a trade.
When does the TIDD Stop Trailing?
On S2F Sim Pro accounts, your TIDD continues to trail until you receive your first payout.
After your first payout, it locks in at the starting balance plus $100 and stops trailing. From that point forward, growth no longer raises the breach level.
Summary of TIDD Rules
Real-time: Includes open (unrealized) trades
Dynamic: Adjusts upward as new equity highs are hit
Breach Level: If equity drops below the trailing threshold, your account breaches
Post-Payout Lock: After your first payout, the TIDD locks in place at your starting balance + $100 and stops trailing
This rule rewards discipline, not gambling. Traders who manage risk and grow steadily will thrive.
1. No Evaluation, Instant Access
The S2F Sim PRO Program gives traders immediate access to a sim-funded account - no need to pass an Evaluation first. You choose your account size and can begin trading right away under real market conditions with built-in risk parameters.
2. Max Accounts
Traders can copy more accounts with the PRO program compared to our other programs.
Regularly, traders can trade up to 5 S2F Pro accounts at the same time.
Account Size | Max Accounts | Total Sim Capital |
$25,000 | 5 | $125,000 |
$50,000 | 5 | $250,000 |
$100,000 | 5 | $500,000 |
$150,000 | 5 | $750,000 |
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is strictly against our policy to copy a PRO account to (or from) a regular Instant Sim Funded plan or an ELITE plan. Copying across account types is a breach of our policy and will lead to your account being breached, forfeiture of profits and denial of payout.
3. Trailing Intra-Day Drawdown (TIDD)
Risk control is central to our model. S2F Sim PRO accounts include two forms of drawdown protection - Daily Loss Limit and Max Loss Limit.
S2F Sim PRO account drawdowns are calculated on an Intra-Day trailing basis - meaning your drawdown updates throughout the day based on your highest equity balance. If your equity balance drops below the % threshold it is considered a breach.
Click Here to read our FAQ on how the Trailing Intra-Day Drawdown works.
Daily Loss Limit
2% Daily Loss Limit
Maximum TIDD
Note: Standard TIDD is 3%. Promotional accounts may have a higher TIDD.
If your balance falls below the trailing drawdown level, the account is breached and closed.

4. Payout Requirements
To request a payout, you must meet the following requirements:
At least 10 trading days
You must have placed trades on 10 separate days with at least 7 of those days being profitable.
A profitable day is defined as 0.1% of your starting balance.
(Ex: $25 on a $25K account, $50 on a $50K account, $100 on a $100K account, $150 on a $150K account)
Profit Targets
1st payout: 6% of your starting balance
2nd payout: 5% of your post-payout balance
3rd payout: 4% of your post-payout balance
Equity Stability Score (ESS) of 20% or less.
What is the Equity Stability Score (ESS)?
The ESS, compared to the standard consistency rule on our other account types, gives a more accurate measurement of your ability to effectively manage risk before moving you to trading live. We use this score because we’re looking for professional traders we can trust to trade live. ESS metrics reset after every payout request, ensuring that each payout cycle starts fresh with newly calculated targets and results based on the highest profit and worst losing days observed within the subsequent cycle period.
The ESS is calculated using this formula:
(Highest Day Profit + Highest Day Loss as a positive number) ÷ Total Profit x 100
If your ESS is 20% or less, you meet the requirement for a payout.
✅ Example 1 (Passes ESS)
Over your payout cycle, you make $15,000 in total profits.
Your best day was +$2,000
Your worst day was - $1,000
Combined: $2,000 + $1,000 = $3,000
ESS Calculation: ($3,000 ÷ $15,000) × 100 = 20%
✅ You meet the ESS requirement and qualify for a payout.
❌ Example 2 (Fails ESS)
Over your payout cycle, you make $9,000 in total profits.
Your best day was +$1,500
Your worst day was - $1,500
Combined: $1,500 + $1,500 = $3,000
ESS Calculation: ($3,000 ÷ $9,000) × 100 = 33.33%
❌ You do not meet the ESS requirement. You would need to continue trading more steadily to reduce your ESS score.
Let’s say you add another $6,000 in steady profits, bringing your total profit to $15,000:
New ESS: ($3,000 ÷ $15,000) × 100 = 20%
✅ Now your ESS is within the required range.
Strategic Considerations for ESS Management During Payout Cycles
Managing Highest Profit Day: Exceeding your current highest profit day increases the ESS value. You might opt to build profits gradually without exceeding the existing highest profit day to stabilize the ESS.
Impact of Losing Days: Larger losing days push the ESS higher, so minimizing losses during the payout cycle becomes critical. Balancing profits and losses is essential for favorable ESS outcomes.
5. Max Sim Payout Before Live
Each account size has a maximum payout cap per withdrawal before moving to live. Once a trader moves to live, there is no payout cap.
Account Size | Max Payout Per Withdrawal | Max Payout Trading 5 Accounts |
$25,000 | $1,500 | $7,500 |
$50,000 | $2,500 | $12,500 |
$100,000 | $3,000 | $15,000 |
$150,000 | $3,500 | $17,500 |
6. Profit Split
Profit split on S2F Sim PRO accounts are set to a 90/10 percentage profit split. Trader receives 90% of the payout. (Ex: 90% of $3,500 = $3,150)
7. Drawdown Lock
Once you receive your first payout, your Trailing Intra-Day Drawdown locks in at the starting balance plus $100 and does not trail and no longer follows account growth.
Example:
You’re trading a $150,000 account and achieve $10,000 in profits bringing your total balance to $160,000. You then receive a payout of $3,500.
Your post payout balance is $156,500. Your drawdown then locks in at $150,100 giving you a $6,400 buffer ($156,500 - $150,100 = $6,400) and no longer trails.
8. No Contract Scaling Requirements
There are no scaling rules with the S2F Sim PRO account. You are allowed to use the full contract limit for your account size from day one. Choose an account size that fits your trading style and strategy.
9. Path To Live
Upon achieving 2 payouts on your S2F Sim PRO account, you will be evaluated for moving to live.
Your Sim profits up to a maximum of 10% of your starting sim balance will be carried over to your Live Account.
Examples:
Trader has one $100K Sim Funded Account with a balance of $109,000 after their 3rd payout. ($9,000 in profit)
$9,000 will be moved to live as their starting balance.
Trader has three $150K Sim Funded Accounts ($450K total) with each account sitting at $165k ($15,000 in profit).
$15,000 will be moved to live as the traders starting balance.
10. Add-ons.
For this account, the anytime payouts add-on is not available.
Platform Rules
To keep trading fair and secure, these rules apply:
No overnight positions: All trades must be closed by 4:00 PM EST.

News trading is allowed.
14 day inactivity rule: If there are no trades on your account for 14 days, your account will be breached.

The Equity Stability Score (ESS)
The Equity Stability Score (ESS) is a number that shows how steady your trading has been.
It helps us understand if:
👉 You made profits through consistent, smart trades.
or
👉 You took big risks and got lucky with one or two large trades.
🧠 Why Do We Use It?
At Top One Futures, we don’t just look for big profits — we look for smart and safe trading.
Traders who grow their accounts steadily, with solid risk management, are more likely to succeed over the long run.
ESS helps us reward consistency, not chaos.
⚠️ Important Note
When we first launched, the maximum ESS allowed was 30% as part of a temporary promotion.
That promotional threshold has ended.
The current ESS limit is 20%.
🧮 How Is ESS Calculated?
The formula is simple:
(Best Day Profit + Worst Day Loss [as a positive number]) ÷ Total Profit × 100%
📊 Example
Let’s say:
Best day profit: $400
Worst day loss: -$350
Total profit: $3,750
Step-by-step:
Remove the minus sign from the loss: $350
Add best day + worst day: $400 + $350 = $750
Divide by total profit: $750 ÷ $3,750 = 0.20
Turn that into a %: 0.20 × 100 = 20%
✅ Your ESS is 20%, which meets the current requirement — so you're good to request a payout (as long as you also meet the other rules)!
📌 Final Tip
If your ESS is 20% or lower:
You’re trading smart
You’re managing risk
You’re eligible to request a payout (if other rules are also met)
If your ESS is too high, no worries — keep trading consistently and it will improve over time.
📝 For accounts purchased during the trading week of the current promotion (July 7th - July 11th), the trades can trade up to 9 accounts at the same time.
If you purchased more than 9 accounts, please reach out to support so we can pause the additional accounts.
Below is a full breakdown of how this rule works and what it means for you.
How Many S2F Pro Accounts Can I Have?
Each trader is allowed to have up to 5 active S2F Sim PRO accounts at the same time, that can be copied to each other. This limit applies regardless of the account size.
This limit is separate from the Classic Instant Sim Funded plans, which have their own 3-account limit.
You may trade:
Up to 5 S2F Sim PRO accounts
And up to 3 Classic accounts
At the same time, if you'd like to trade both plan types.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is strictly against our policy to copy trade S2F Sim PRO accounts to (or from) Classic accounts.
Can I Mix Different S2F Sim PRO Account Sizes?
Absolutely. You have full flexibility in choosing your S2F SimPRO account sizes. For example, you can have:
One $25,000 S2F Sim Pro account
Two $50,000 S2F Sim Pro accounts
Four $100,000 S2F Sim Pro accounts
As long as you don’t exceed 5 active S2F Pro accounts, you're good to go.
Can I Trade More Than 5 S2F Sim PRO Accounts?
No. If you already have 5 active S2F Sim PRO accounts being traded, you may not trade any additional S2F Sim PRO you must pause, breach, or close an account before activating a new one.
Attempting to exceed the 5-account limit may result in your oldest active S2F Pro account being breached without refund or payout denials if you have been trading more than the maximum allowed.
📉 Can I Open a New S2F Sim PRO Account After Breaching or Closing One?
Yes. Once you’re below the 5-account threshold, you're free to activate or purchase a new S2F Pro plan.
🔀 Can I Merge S2F Sim PRO Accounts?
No. We do not support merging accounts. Each S2F Sim PRO account is managed separately and cannot be combined with others for performance, balance, or payout purposes.
That said, you’re welcome to manually copy trades between your accounts if you wish to mirror performance across them.
📊 How Do I Track My Active S2F Sim PRO Accounts?
You can view all of your active accounts—including S2F Sim PRO and Classic—by logging into your Top One Futures Trader Dashboard. The dashboard shows:
Account IDs
Account stage and plan type
Status (Active, Breached, Closed)
Key performance metrics
It is your responsibility to ensure you stay within your plan’s account limit.
✅ Why Does This Rule Exist?
The 5-account limit for S2F Sim PRO plans is designed to:
Give traders flexibility to scale up responsibly
Prevent over leveraging and excessive multi-account strategies
Preserve fairness and platform integrity
We’re excited to offer this expanded limit for our S2F Sim PRO traders, while still maintaining our commitment to responsible risk management.
✅ 1. Minimum Trading Days
You must trade on at least 10 separate days.
These can be any 10 days — not necessarily in a row.
Minimum 7 Profitable trading days.
You need at least 7 trading days in which you have reached a realized profit of at least 0.1% of your starting balance. ($25 on a $25K account, $50 on a $50K account, $100 on a $100K account, $150 on a $150K account)
🎯 2. Profit Targets
Each payout has its own target, based on your account balance at the time of the request.
📍 First Payout — 6% of Starting Balance
You must earn 6% profit based on your original starting balance.
✅ Example (50K Account):
6% of $50,000 = $53,000 profit target
You reach $53,000 and request $1,500 (within the max limit).
Your new balance becomes $51,500 after the payout.
📍 Second Payout — 5% of Balance After First Payout
You now need to earn 5% profit from your new balance ($51,500).
✅ Example:
5% of $51,500 = $54,075 profit target
You grow the account to $54,075 and request another $1,500.
Your new balance becomes $52,575 after the second payout.
📉 3. Equity Stability Score (ESS)
Your Equity Stability Score must be 20% or lower when requesting any payout.
This helps ensure your trading is steady and responsible - not based on risky spikes.
Click Here to read our detailed FAQ on how to calculate the ESS.
💰 Maximum Payout Limits (Per Withdrawal)
Account Size | Max Payout Per Withdrawal |

$50,000 | $2,500 |
$100,000 | $3,000 |
$150,000 | $3,500 |
If you’ve earned more than the limit, you’ll need to wait until your next payout cycle to withdraw the rest.

1st Payout | 6% | Starting account balance |
2nd Payout | 5% | Balance after 1st payout |
